906 - Wild Animals Killed by Other Means

(1) - This section governs the following species of wild animals that die following a collision with a motor vehicle or are found dead:

  • White-tailed deer.

  • Fox or squirrel.

  • Rabbit.

  • Furbearing mammal.

  • River otter.

  • Wild turkey.

  • Quail.

  • Pheasant.

(2) - An individual may possess a species of wild animal listed in subsection (1) with a special purpose salvage permit issued by a conservation officer, an individual designated by the conservation officer, or Game Warden.
