330 - Illegal Parking

(i) - No vehicle shall park or stop on a roadway except in a painted parking stall or at a white/unmarked curbside. No vehicle shall park in a parking lot except in a painted parking stall or at a white/unmarked curbside.

(ii) - No vehicle shall park or stop on, in front of, or blocking access to a fire hydrant, driveway, sidewalk, intersection, crosswalk, or bus stop.

(iii) - No vehicle shall park against or aside a red curb. Vehicles may stop without parking against or aside a red curb.

(iv) - No vehicle shall park in a zone designated or marked by a regulatory sign or written road marking stating No Parking.

(v) - No vehicle shall stop or park in a zone designated or marked by a regulatory sign or written road marking stating No Stopping, Keep Clear, or Do Not Block.

(vi) - No vehicle shall park in a reserved stall without authorization or in an area requiring a permit without displaying a permit.

(vii) - No vehicle shall park on private or government property without authorization.

(viii) - No vehicle shall park or stop on a highway breakdown lane, highway shoulder, or highway median except in the event of emergency, mechanical failure, or when directed to do so by emergency services or Department of Transportation workers.

(ix) - No vehicle shall stop, stand, wait, or park on railroad or tramway/light-rail tracks; including vehicles which are queued in traffic. The area encompassed by the tracks/rails, level crossing arms/gates, and protective fencing around said tracks is encompassed by this code. Vehicles may only stop on rails in emergent situations or when authorized maintenance is being performed by railway and/or road engineers.

(x) - No vehicle shall stand or park adjacent to a roadway positioned in a direction opposite to the flow of traffic.
