F1-10 - Violating a Court Order

Whoever willfully disobeys the terms written in a court order. The U.S. DOJ can charge the defendant with a misdemeanor.

A court order is an official judgement or ruling given by a judge. A court order can be final (at the end of a hearing) or interim (until a final order can be made), specific issue order - ruling on a specific issue raised with the court (e.g. can a building demolition proceed, can a prisoner be executed, etc.).
