711 - Unlawful Practice of Medicine

A person commits a felony by providing professional aid without Medical authority or without have guidance of someone with Medical authority.

For this statute "Professional Aid" is defined as utilizing medications, Stitching, applying a cast other than splints, or conducting acts specifically trained to medical professionals and would not be considered to be beyond basic home care.
