807 - Possession of an Illegal Weapon

807 (a) - All firearms require serial numbers to be associated and registered with the NCIC/CAD. A person commits a felony by Altering, removing, or possessing a firearm without an associated valid serial number is an offense under this code.

• Silencer / Suppresor

• Bump Stock

807 (c) - Class 2: No person shall be in possesion Felonyof a;

• Automatic weapons

• Machine guns

• Short-barreled shotgun

• Short-barreled rifle

Exception: Class 2 weapons may be possessed/owned by a licensed gun store. Class 2 weapons may not be sold. If the gun store has a certified gun range, the weapon may be fired.

807 (d) - Class 3: No person shall be in possesion of;

• Explosive Devices

• Improvised Explosive Devices

• Grenades

• Pipe Bombs

• Missiles

• Rockets

• Large-caliber Projectile weapons larger than .50 Caliber

• Launchers

Class 3 weapons may be prosecuted as either a regular or federal offence, but not both.

807 ( e) - Class 4: No person may possess any;

• Incendiary Ammunition

• Armor Piercing Ammunition
